A matte black Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 with Monster Energy graphics was recently spotted at a dealership in Chennai. No such option is available for sale in India the new graphics seen in the photographs is a dealership level customisation, created especially for Yamaha racing events. The motorcycle features matte black paint with bright green graphics and Monster Energy logo on the front fender, fairing and the fuel tank.
The motorcycle was also seen on the race track during the media rides of the new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0. Check out the motorcycle in the video below:

Apart from the new paint scheme, this unique Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 continues with the standard features list. Thus, you’d get the same 155cc, four-stroke single cylinder SOHC liquid cooled engine with Variable Valve Activation (VVA) and Assist and Slipper Clutch. The engine is tuned to develop 19.3 PS of power and 15Nm of torque. Yamaha claims that the top speed is around 144 km/h.

Visually, the motorcycle features a fully digital instrument control, LED head light and LED tail lamp. Yamaha also markets the “Racing Kit” comprising of Metzeler rubber along with a Daytona muffler and Frame Slider.
