Verna is developed with State of the Art Technology
The upcoming Hyundai VERNA is made by using a highly advanced Superstructure that increases the body stiffness and structural connectivity, resulting in optimal energy flow distribution. At Hyundai’s Manufacturing facility, the Press Shop displays the cutting-edge technology that is utilized to create this impressive structure. The Press Shop Technology involves intelligent inspection methods like 3D scanning and infrared camera inspection. The new Verna ensures that the shell is translated to the highest standards of quality and precision with this technology.
Forming the body of Verna with advanced technologies
Hyundai has built the Verna with advanced robotic technologies. The body-build line is LOT-enabled, with 100% welding automation and over 450 intelligent robots. The real-time vision inspection for door mastic sealers enhances the body’s quality. In the paint shop, the VERNA receives a fresh coat using high-throw power 7th generation Electro Deposition coating, resulting in a dazzling allure. Adding to the allure is the dual-tone paint coating, which is new to this sedan. Hyundai has also introduced a ‘premium clear’ paint application, which increases the paint’s durability.
Unparalleled Quality and Features
The highly skilled craftsman team of Hyundai has achieved unparalleled brilliance in transforming the all-new Hyundai VERNA into a futuristic and premium car. The assembly shop is equipped with the latest electric tool tightening system that confirms over 700 dynamic joints in the car, ensuring unparalleled quality standards. This revolutionary sedan is equipped with the segment’s first Hyundai SmartSense – Level 2 ADAS. The accuracy of the camera and radar is well calibrated using Target Board and Doppler Generator. To assure superior performance, the all-new Hyundai VERNA is put through rigorous road tests on 15 drive tracks that simulate various road driving conditions, further reinforcing its unbeatable quality standards.
Unleashing the Power
The heart of this sedan is its powertrain, designed to spark excitement. The 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol engine is a product of Hyundai’s fully automated machining lines, using high-precision machines. The engine also undergoes a special ball milling technology and automatic Borescope inspection process, to ensure the highest levels of purity. As part of Hyundai’s quality assurance process, the engine is put through a range of challenging conditions at the Endurance labs and eco-friendly Cold test beds, without burning fuel. With a peak power of 160 PS and max torque of 253 Nm, the all-new Hyundai VERNA with 1.5 Turbo GDi is ready to deliver an exhilarating driving experience.
