Mondays aren’t exactly exciting but our Monday started on a different note. A notification from TVS Motor Company’s official YouTube channel sent us into a state of frenzy. The World Premiere of the TVS Apache Series was scheduled to happen at 11 AM. We first speculated that they were going to unveil a brand new motorcycle belonging from the Apache series. The naked streetfighter version of the Apache RR 310 was definitely speculated but it turns out, it was just an announcement that the Apache brand has hit the 4 million sales mark.
Apache was first introduced in our market back in 2006 and was placed as a prime rival to the Bajaj Pulsar which was such a formidable force back then.
The TVS Apache brand has had 10 motorcycles in its line-up over the 15-year span- 150 IE-Surge, RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180, RTR 180 ABS, RTR 200 4V, RTR 200 4V Race Edition, RTR 200 FI E100 and the RR 310. All the motorcycle share the same racing DNA the apache series is renowned for. The Apache RR 310 currently serves as the flagship motorcycle of the homegrown manufacturer while its younger siblings too, are among the best motorcycles in their respective segments.
