Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL), part of the USD 16.7 billion Mahindra Group recently inaugurated its new Mumbai dealership called ‘SM Auto’. This new facility is spread over 3,300 sq. ft. and includes a 1,700 sq. ft. showroom and a 1,600 sq. ft. workshop. Located in Goregaon West this new facility takes the total number of dealerships in Maharashtra to 42, and is part of the company’s strategy to expand its retail presence in the important western markets of the country.
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Dharmendra Mishra – Vice President Sales & Customer Care said, “We are glad to have launched our 42nd dealership in the state of Maharashtra. Over the last 9 months we have seen huge demand for our two wheelers emerging from various cities in the west, particularly for the Centuro. The inauguration of SM Auto is in line with our west-centric expansion strategy.”
He added, “SM Auto has been designed to comply with our modern and premium retail identity for sales, spares and service outlets. It will offer a superior level of service to our customers which is in sync with Mahindra Two Wheelers’ strong focus on the customer.”
Located in the heart of suburban Mumbai, the new dealership will offer the entire range of Mahindra Two Wheelers’ ranging from it automatic scooters, to the award winning Centuro motorcycle. SM Auto will also offer after sales and a host of other services.
