Fans of the bold fluidic design have something to look forward to, as Hyundai will launch the next-gen Verna sedan on February 18. Facing increased competition from the Maruti Ciaz and the not so new Honda City, the new Hyundai Verna gets cosmetic upgrades in the form of new head and tail lamps, the former now getting a projector setup, differently designed fog lamps, new front grille, differently designed front and rear bumpers and a fresh design for the alloy wheels.
On the inside, the already feature packed car will see the addition of a few new features that are at par with the segment, while the cabin will remain more or less unchanged. Powering the car will be the same set of 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol and diesel motors, available with both manual and automatic gearboxes. The next-gen Hyundai Verna is also likely to get a tweaked suspension and a steering unit, which has been improved for better accuracy and feedback. As the launch date nears, stay tuned to Motoroids for more about this new iteration of the feature packed sedan.
