It has emerged that the new Bentley Mulsanne 2014, which was showcased at Geneva Motor Show in March this year, will be launched in India towards the end of this year. This revelation came from Mr. Chris Buxton, Bentley’s Regional Manager for Middle East, Africa and India. Mr. Buxton told this to journalists at the back of the India launch of the 2014 Bentley Flying Spur in New Delhi today.
The latest iteration of the premium car maker’s flagship luxury saloon comes with a host of revisions, which together make the car even more pampering to its passengers.
One of the biggest updates to the premium luxury offering is that of the introduction of new Comfort Specification which enhances the comfort quotient for the occupants. The car now comes equipped with curtains for the rear windows and the rear door armrest now comes with a storage compartment.
Equipment on offer include a new WiFi-enabled entertainment system and an iPad and a wireless keyboard for the picnic table. The picnic tables provide a smooth writing surface and store an iPad and keyboard underneath. The rear passengers also get 8” touchscreens mounted on the back of front seat headrests. The multimedia system on offer has a 20 GB hard disk storage space and includes a DVD player along with Bluetooth headphones.
The new exterior paint options for the 2014 Bentley Mulsanne include – Dark Cashmere, Portofino and Damson. The upholstery too gets three new colour options– Damson, Saffron and Brunel.
