Hyundai sells the Solaris in Russia which is nothing but the Verna in India and the Accent in USA. Now, the Korean car maker has revealed the 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift. The 2015 Verna facelift gets new headlamps, new grille and a new bumper. The car gets new fog lamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps. On the rear, the car receives LED based tail lamps. The rear bumper gets new reflectors and a black bumper insert.
On the interior front, the 2015 Hyundai Verna facelift retains the all-black cabin cockpit for the Russian car market, unlike the beige interiors offered in the Indian Hyundai Verna. For the Russian market, Hyundai has equipped the car with a 6 speed automatic and manual gearboxes with the 1.6 liter four pot petrol mill. While the current model gets a outdated 4 speed automatic transmission, Hyundai could bring the 6 speed box when it will be launching this model in the Indian market.
Hyundai sells the Verna in Russia only with the petrol motor. Since the diesel Verna isn’t on sale, no details are clear about the cogs available on the diesel engine’s transmission. The Hyundai Verna is currently the only sedan to get an automatic transmission with a diesel engine. We will have to wait and watch for some more details to come out.
