From having unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the new 2014 Bentley Flying Spur as reported in our earlier posts has finally been launched in India at INR 3.10 Crores.
Styled on lines of the new Continental GT and Continental GTC, the front fascia is identical to the earlier generation. The rear however gets a sporty treatment characterized by slimmer rear light units lending the car a much sleeker profile along with revised C pillars.
Hop inside and you are treated by an all new interior design which seems a step up from the present generation Flying Spur. The car gets a new steering wheel with the dashboard extending all the way to the door cappings.
The twin turbo 6.0 litre W12 powering the 2014 Flying Spur is the most powerful engine in to be offered on Bentley’s lineup. With an output of a monstrous 616 bhp @ 6000 rpm and torque rated at 800 nm @ 2000 rpm, the car shatters the 100 kph mark from standstill in 4.6 seconds and a top whack of an astounding 322 kph with power being fed to all four wheels. The engine gets an all new ZF-8 speed automatic transmission claimed to shift gears in as quick as 200 milliseconds.
