The top of the line variant features two (31.2 cm) 12.3 inch screens (1920 x 720 pixel resolution) with a variety of customization options and a revised main menu interface for the COMAND system. The interior of the upcoming E-Class is a combination of the luxurious S class and the sporty feel of a C-Class. The interiors are packed with goodies such the mood lighting with an array of 64 color options, moulded seats based on human physique that appear to have shoulder lines when viewed from a certain angle and an optional Burmester 3D surround sound music system with 23 speakers that produce 1450 watts.
The optionally available MULTIBEAM LED headlamp system has 2.5 times the partial high beam output and an LED tail-light system with a ‘Stardust’ effect that reminds one of the Milky Way or the glow of a jet engine according to Mercedes.
