After unveiling 5 new products earlier this year in the form of the Activa 3G, a different looking Dio and refreshed iterations of the CB Shine, Dream Yuga and the Dream Neo, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced growth of 10% in YoY sales for the month of February 2015. They managed to sell 3,61,493 units last month, domestic motorcycle and scooter sales and exports combined, compared to 3,28,468 units they managed to sell in February 2014.
For the first time, sales crossed the hallmark 4 million mark in FY’15, Honda posting a 22% domestic growth between April – February, FY’2014-15, compared to the rest of the industry which grew at 9%. Honda even gained on their domestic share, managing to capture 29% of the two-wheeler market.
