Mitsubishi Outlander Surfaces On Official Indian Website, Launch Soon?

Mitsubishi seems to be working on bringing another SUV to the Indian market soon. The Indian arm of the Japanese automotive manufacturer has listed the Outlander on their official website, hinting that a launch might not be far away.

Design wise, the new Outlander receives Mitsubishi’s signature ‘Dynamic Shield’ front fascia with a dual tone bumper. Also on offer is a twin slat chrome grille flanked by LED headlamps on either side. Even the fog lamps will be LED powered. According to the company, the new design of the Outlander reduces the drag co-efficient by 7%.

For the interiors, the new Mitsubishi Outlander will come equipped with leather seats, 6.1 inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 710W eight channel amplifier, dual zone automatic climate control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, keyless entry, push button start and a sunroof.

Mitsubishi has not revealed any details of the engine specifications the company has said transmission duties will be taken care of by a six speed CVT gearbox with paddle shifters and the model will sprint from 0-100 kmph in 11.1 seconds. Mitsubishi India will also offer a four wheel drive system, ABS with EBD, Active Stability Control (ASC), Hill start Assist (HSA) and rain sensing wipers.
