And its the end of the road for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. Mitsubishi has opened the order books for the Final Edition of the Lancer Evolution X. It is not be noted that the Lancer Evo X has been on sale internationally since 2007. The Lancer Evo Final Edition has been restricted to 1,000 units and will be on sale in Japan only. With this edition Mitsubishi is bidding goodbye to the rally amd motorsports legend.
Based on the Evo-GSR, the final edition Evo features a black chrome grille, 18-inch BBS alloy wheels, Bilstein and Eibach suspension bits, Brembo brakes, gloss black trim on the lower bumpers and model-specific emblems. On the interior front, Mitsubishi has treated it with black leather Recaros with red accent stitching, along with a numbered dash plaque stating the model number.
Powering the Lancer Evolution Final Edition is a 2.0-litre MIVEC turbo-petrol engine belting out around 300 bhp. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 5 speed manual transmission.
