James Bond has the Aston Martin, Frank Martin has an Audi and it seems like Agent Ethan Hunt has teamed up with BMW! Agent Hunt (Tom Cruise) was seen driving the futuristic BMW i8 in the fourth installment of the Mission Impossible series, Ghost Protocol. And he continues with the partnership with the Bavarian manufacturer in the fifth movie, Rouge Nation. But this time around he will also be riding on two-wheels!
The official trailer for “Mission:Impossible – Rogue Nation” is out and Cruise is seen in action on BMW Motorrad’s flagship motorcycle, the S1000RR. But the bad guys don’t want to left behind as they can also be seen on the same model from the Bavarian manufacturer. You can also see Cruise drive a BMW F80 M3 in a chase scene.

For the uninitiated, the BMW S1000RR is the company’s flagship motorcycle that was first seen at the 2009 Superbike World Championship. BMW Motorrad began the commercial sale of this litre-class motorcycle in 2010. The motorcycle in the film, however, is not the latest variant of the S1000RR.
The BMW S1000RR is powered by a 999cc Water-cooled 4-stroke in-line four-cylinder-engine that delivers 193 hp of power @ 13,000 RPM and 112Nm of torque @ 9,750 RPM. Under the hood of the BMW F80 M3 is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six that makes 425 hp of power and 406 lb-ft of torque.
