2011 turned out to be a busy period for the German automaker Mercedes Benz. Among many other things, we saw the luxury car manufacturer introduce the car lease plans in India. Riding high on the success that MB received last year, Mercedes-Benz India will soon to be introducing a number of initiatives to continue capturing more of the market.
MB has planned to introduce the Avant-Garde at the Expo.Going by the literal meaning, Mercedes Benz India seems to be upto some innovation.And innovation it sure seems to be.What with the plans of introduction of initiatives that are far from being common in the Indian industry. One such initiative is the AMG Performance Driving Academy.
The AMG Performance Driving Academy will be inaugurated today at the Buddh International Circuit. On display for the first time in India will be the DTM and SLS GT3 race car. Also the part of the initiative will be the plan to allow select participants to experience STAR DRIVE in the Auto expo venue.
Speaking on this development, Mr. Debashis Mitra, Director, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India said “mb. Feel it! is more than a communication tag line. It can be experienced by the customers when they interact with brand Mercedes-Benz during the Auto Expo in forms of future products and technologies showcased, young achievers & our engagement through the performance driving academy. This is in line with our strategy to grow 10 times in 10 years in the Indian market”
