Think Logan and the first image that might come to your mind might be that of the white cabs that can be found in abundance in most metros of the country. While the Logan became Verito in India, Dacia launched the new generation of the car in international markets.
Soon after, the Dacia Dealer Team came up with the Dacia Logan STTC racecar that will perform in the 2013 Swedish Touring Car Championship. Here we have a video of the Logan STTC racecar that will be seen sweating it out in the first season race on May 3-4.
The 2013 STCC will see four carmakers competing with each other – BMW, Citroen, Dacia and Volvo. The body works of these cars are tested in Volvo’s wind tunnel and have an equal coefficient of drag.
Powering the Logan STCC is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that has more than 400bhp of power and is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. The car can hit 100kph from standstill in supercar rivalling 3 seconds and has a top speed of 270 kmph.
Just imagine what if this car starts plying as a tourist cab on our roads? One ‘Crazy Taxi’ this would be. No?
