Another Italian brand with Chinese ownership is being introduced to India by Adishwar Auto Ride India Private Limited (AARIPL), this time Moto Bologna Passione (MBP).
In India, Benelli and Keeway motorcycles will also be available with the future MBP models. MBP debuted its M502N naked motorbike and the C1002V at the current Auto Expo. In Bologna, Italy—the home of Ducati—Moto Bologna Passione was established in 2022.
However, this Chinese-owned business, like its siblings Keeway and Benelli, has Italian style and even comes in the gorgeous Ducati Red colour. Although the company’s headquarters are in Bologna, the design studio is located in Barcelona, and the products are made in China.
C1002V
The C1002V, which made its world debut at the EICMA in November, has a power-cruiser design style that rivals that of the Harley-Davidson Nightster and also appeals to fans of the Ducati Diavel. The motorcycle sports large tyres on both ends, a relaxed riding triangle, and a brawny, blacked-out bodywork.
A 997cc V-Twin with 80-degree cylinders and an output of 94 horsepower and 102 Nm is located in the centre. These numbers put it on par with the competition, but its feature package makes it stand out. The MBP C1002V is equipped with a cruise control system and switchable engine maps. There is also a 5-inch TFT display that may be Bluetooth-connected to a smartphone.
M502N
Internationally speaking, the 500cc twin-cylinder engine of the M502N naked motorbike by the Italian bikemaker produces 47bhp. The KYB suspension and Pirelli Angel GT tyres are high-end components. Additionally, it sports a 4.2-inch TFT display and full-LED lighting.
On the second day of the 2023 Auto Expo, MBP displayed both the C1002V and M502N models, however it is not known when they will go on sale. Adishwar Auto Ride, which also owns Zontes, Moto Morini, QJ Motor, Keeway, and Benelli, might be bringing a few more motorcycles under the Motovault brand.
From 125cc scooters and motorcycles to maxi-scooters and even huge displacement ADVs, cruisers, and a naked, MBP offers a wide selection of products.
All MBP motorcycles feature IOT technology with a cellular connection and a GPS location system. MCUs (Motorcycle Connectivity Units) with specialised connections are also included with MBP motorcycles.
The business also created the “MBP Connect,” a proprietary app that gives users access to new security features including a panic button, remote shutdown, and a system that detects movement and vibration. Other elements of the app, including as group rides, the MBP support chat, and comprehensive Moto-Metrics, increase enjoyment among the select community. Since the motorcycles have their own internet connection service, the app automatically refreshes all the routes without the need for a bluetooth connection.
