Maruti Suzuki unveils new EV infrastructure “e for Me”

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the nation’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled its ambitious blueprint for electric mobility, titled ‘e For Me.’ This comprehensive strategy aims to revolutionize India’s transition to electric vehicles (EVs) by combining innovative products with a robust ecosystem that supports sustainable and hassle-free EV ownership.

Dual-Pronged Approach to Electric Mobility

The ‘e For Me’ initiative takes a twofold approach:

  1. Electric Products:
    Maruti Suzuki’s foray into EVs begins with the e VITARA, an eBorn SUV designed specifically for Indian customers. The e VITARA is not just a vehicle but a statement of intent, emphasizing affordability, range, and reliability to address the unique demands of India’s diverse market.
  2. Electric Ecosystem:
    Alongside the vehicle, the company is establishing a robust infrastructure to promote seamless EV adoption. This ecosystem includes accessible charging networks, innovative ownership models, and advanced technology for customer convenience.

e VITARA at Bharat Mobility Global Auto Show 2025

The e VITARA will take center stage at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing Maruti Suzuki’s capability in crafting electric vehicles for the global stage. This Made-in-India-for-the-World SUV represents the company’s dedication to sustainable innovation and ecological responsibility.

Visitors to the 3,300 m² Maruti Suzuki pavilion at Hall No. 5, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, will also witness a wide array of concept and production vehicles, including popular models such as the Dzire, Swift, Invicto, Jimny, and Grand Vitara.
