Ahead of the next generation Swift that is likely to debut at the 2018 Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki has launched a Limited Edition of the outgoing model. Known as the Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition, the model is available with both, petrol and diesel engines.
Prices for the Swift Limited Edition start at INR 5.44 lakh and INR 6.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol and diesel variants respectively. Over and above the standard Swift, the Swift Limited edition receives dual tone decals of blue and grey which can be seen on the bonnet, side panels and the roof.

Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition comes equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The company also offers a rear view camera which is compatible with the new touchscreen system. The audio system on the limited edition model has also been tuned for extra bass.
Engine specifications remain unchanged and hence the Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition continues to be available with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre diesel engine. The petrol motor is capable of producing 83 hp and 115 Nm of torque while the diesel motor is tuned to produce 74 hp at 190 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a five speed manual unit.
