Maruti Suzuki Invicto Bookings Open, Launch around the corner!

One of the leading car manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki has geared up for a new launch. This time, the carmaker is launching its most anticipated flagship MUV known as Invicto.

The MUV will be based on Toyota Innova Hycross and will be revealed on 5th July. Now, Maruti Suzuki has commenced the bookings of Invicto MUV and buyers can book one for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. However, the carmaker is currently taking the bookings of the Alpha Plus variant in Nexa Celestial Blue colour.

The cosmetic tweaks in Maruti Invicto

We can expect that the Maruti Suzuki Invicto will have some tweaks in its aesthetics. To distinguish, the carmaker will offer a tweaked front profile comprising a new bumper, grille, and headlights. The MPV will sit on 18-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, the styling of this MPV will be accentuated by the new LED taillights with inserts and a unique alloy design. Even at the rear, the carmaker might give a slew of tweaks to the tailgate and bumper.

The first feature-loaded premium MPV by Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be the first premium and flagship model by the carmaker. The new premium MPV will boast a plethora of premium features for the convenience of the users. The dashboard will feature a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Connected Car Technology, etc. The MPV will get comfort creature features like 8-way powered memory seats, dual-zone climate control, type-C ports, and sun shades.

Furthermore, the 10-inch infotainment system of Maruti Invicto will be paired with a 9-speaker JBL audio system. In addition, a subwoofer will be provided by the manufacturer for the clarified audio experience of the users. Moreover, Maruti Invicto will be the first model from the carmaker to offer features like Front Parking sensors, ADAS, and Electronic Parking brakes.

The Powertrain of Maruti Invicto

Unlike the Toyota Hycross, Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be powered by the 2.0L hybrid engine only. This engine is coupled to an electric motor for enhanced power delivery. The petrol engine alone will churn 172hp and 188nm of output, while the hybrid motor will produce 11hp and 206nm of output. The hybrid engine will be mated to an e-CVT transmission. In the hybrid iteration, the Invicto is expected to deliver around 15-18kmpl of fuel efficiency in real-world circumstances.

Pricing, Launch Timeline, and the Competition

Maruti Suzuki Invicto is expected to be priced lower than the Innova Hycross to cater to a broad audience. The starting price is expected to be around Rs. 20 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The Invicto will receive similar 7-seater and 8-seater configurations as the Innova Hycross.

The carmaker is all set for the debut on the Invicto on 5th July 2023. When launched, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto will lock horns with Kia Carnival and Toyota Innova Hycross in the market.
