Maruti Suzuki is silently updating the colour palette of two of its popular models, the Ignis and the Baleno. Both the models, which are sold through, Nexa, the company’s premium chain of dealerships, will soon replace the Urbane Blue paintjob with a new ‘Nexa Blue’ paintjob.
The Nexa Blue paintjob is currently available on all other Maruti Suzuki vehicles sold via the Next dealerships such as the Ciaz and the S-Cross. Save for the new paintjob, Maruti Suzuki will continue offering the Ignis with the same variant options and engine specifications.
It is believed that the Urbane Blue paintjob has now been discontinued by Maruti for the Baleno and the Ignis. Images shared on the web reveal the first look of the Ignis with the new paintjob. This paintjob will soon be made available on the Baleno too. Maruti has stopped production of the Urbane blue coloured Ignis but a few units may still be available with dealerships. The Ignis is currently offered with six paintjob options including Tinsel Blue, Uptown Red, Silky Silver, Glistering Grey and Pearl Arctic White.
