Mahindra Scorpio N Automatic And 4WD Prices Revealed!

Back in June, Mahindra launched the Scorpio-N at an attractive price of ₹11.99 lakh. However, Mahindra had only launched the manual variants, and prices for the automatic and 4×4 variants were supposed to be announced later. Now, Mahindra has finally revealed the prices of the automatic and 4×4 variants of the Scorpio-N. Mahindra has also revealed more details about the bookings and deliveries of the much-awaited SUV. Mahindra Scorpio N: Automatic and 4X4 pricing explained

The Scorpio-N automatic is available in the Z4, Z8 and Z8L variants for petrol whereas the diesel automatic is available in Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8 L variants. The automatic variant is offered with a 6-speed torque converter automatic for both engines. The automatic trim offers a higher torque output in both, petrol and diesel engines. The petrol automatic produces 380 nm of torque whereas the diesel automatic produces 400 nm of torque. The automatic variant also gets a few extra features over its manual counterpart. The Z4 variant gets additional ESC with Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Hill Hold Control (HHC), and Hill Decent Control (HDC). The Z4 diesel additionally gets a more powerful state of tune at 175 hp( Z4 diesel manual comes in the 130hp guise only) and an electric power steering. The Z8 and Z8 L variants get larger 18-inch alloy wheels when compared to the 17-inch wheels of the manual. All the automatic variants are priced at ₹1.96 lakhs over their manual counterparts. Customers can also get 6-seats in select Z8 L variants for ₹20000 over the respective 7-seater variants.

The 4WD variant of the Scorpio-N is priced at ₹2.45 lakh over its manual counterpart and offered only with the diesel engine. It is available in the Z4, Z8, and Z8L variants. While the Z4 variant comes only with a shift on fly 4WD system, the Z8 and Z8L additionally come with Mahindra’s 4Xplor with selectable terrain modes which include Normal, Snow, Mud & Ruts, and Sand modes. Other offroad tech includes a mechanical locking differential and a brake locking differential.

Bookings And Delivery

All the prices mentioned above are introductory and are valid only for the first slot. Bookings for the Scorpio N will commence on the 30th of July and will be done on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Customers will have an option of editing their choice of variant booked on July 30 till 15th August midnight. Mahindra has only planned to produce 20000 units of the Scorpio N till December 2022. Based on customer enquiry trends, the production of Z8L variants has been prioritized to match customer expectations at the time of delivery. Deliveries for the Scorpio N will begin on the 26th of September.
