Mahindra Scorpio Classic: Variants explained

Taking on Mahindra’s Legacy, the Scorpio Classic is back again with brand new updates and tech features. The new Scorpio Classic will be launched on the 20th of August and has already amused the fans with its looks. This soon-to-be-launched car will be available in two variants S and S11. Here we have simplified the variants for you.

Scorpio Classic S variant

This is the base variant of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic. The exterior details include  Unpainted bumpers and Black cladding. While the back gest newly designed vertically LED tail lights. The alloy wheels of this variant are 17-inch steel wheels. Taking a look inside, This variant comes in a Dual-tone interior theme, and the cabin gets enhanced by the Vinyl upholstery. Other features include a Tilt-adjustable steering wheel, Engine start-stop button. While the safety features of Scorpio Classic S variants are Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a Reverse parking sensor, a Speed alert system, and a Seat-belt reminder system.

Scorpio Classic S11 variant

The Scorpio Classic S11 is the top-spec variant. The front of this variant comes with New LED DRLs, Projector headlamps, and Fog lights. Unlike the S variant, this variant features 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other added features include side footsteps, Dual-tone cladding, and integrated spoilers. While the bumper here gets a painted finish. The interior with new Fabric upholstery comes equipped with a Nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Automatic climate control. Other tech features include a height-adjustable driver seat, Front and rear arm-rests, Steering-mounted controls, Cruise control, Gear shift indicator, Electrically adjustable ORVMs, and Rear wiper & washer.

The power of Scorpio Classic comes from the same 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine producing 130 bhp and 300 nm of torque. Mahindra has given this SUV five color options namely, Pearl White, Napoli Black, Red Rage, D’sat Silver, and Galaxy Grey. Although the company has not revealed the price for the new Scorpio Classic, it will be placed below the recently launched Scorpio N. The Scorpio is currently priced between ₹ 13.53 lakh and ₹18.61 lakh (ex. showroom).
