Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd. today announced that its mini-truck offering,Maxximo, has crossed the 1 lakh mark in domestic sales since its launch.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. P.N. Shah, Chief Executive – Automotive Sector – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “Maxximo has firmly established itself with its advanced-technology proposition that offers greater earning, less fatigue, more peace-of-mind and more status to its owner. In the process, Maxximo has raised the bar in the market on power, fuel economy, comfort, safety and style”.
In fact, in studies done by market-research agencies, IMRB and TNS, mini-truck owners ranked the Maxximo as No. 1 on the parameters of “advanced technology”, “powerful” and “car-like”.
Mahindra is confident that by delivering the brand’s promise, Maxximo will help its owner stay ahead of others. Not only on the road but in life as well. This very spirit of “Raho Hamesha Aage” is enforced in all of the brand’s communication to the customer.
Indeed, a recent initiative by Mahindra to reach out to Maxximo owners has brought to light stories of how the mini-truck has positively impacted the business and life of thousands of delighted owners.
Apart from the mini-truck, the Maxximo platform offers 3 more products in the load and passenger segments, viz., the CNG variant of the mini-truck, the Maxximo Mini Van and the Maxximo Mini Van VX (Hardtop with Sliding Doors).
Referring to the potential of the Maxximo platform, Mr. P.N. Shah added, “In less than 2 years, the offerings on the Maxximo platform, taken together, have captured 25% of the market.
