Mahindra’s very own certified used cars mart – Mahindra First Choice Services, has recently announced an expansion plan and will be making way to 125 new car workshops throughout the country. All of this, is seen to be an attempt made, to attract positive response from various dealers. The multi-brand certified used cars company, seems to be specially focusing on Rajasthan and aims to open 25 new car workshops in the northern state. The cities shortlisted include Jaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Beawar, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Sawaimadhopur, Tonk and Kota district. The company has also let out invites to franchisee allies that are located in various cities that are within 300 km of Jaipur, which is the state’s capital.
Alok Kapoor, who is the Head of Marketing and Franchise Business at Mahindra First Choice Services Ltd. said, “There is a high potential for the multi-brand car servicing business in Rajasthan and to tap the opportunity, we are expanding our network in the state and plan to open 25 workshops by 2015. The warehouse will be set up under our spare parts management model. The warehouse will have parts of cars of multi brands and will cater to these workshops. The vehicle owner will not have to worry about parts as all the parts will be available with warranty through our warehouse.”
Kapoor has also chalked out the company’s expansion strategy in other parts of the country, including states like Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, among others.
