Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL) has received the prestigious India Design Mark for its Duro DZ and Rodeo RZ scooters.
The India Design Mark is a design standard, a symbol, which recognises good design. It symbolises excellence in form, function, quality, safety, sustainability and innovation and communicates that the product is usable, durable, aesthetically appealing and socially responsible.
“We are honoured to receive the India Design Mark for two of our products. This accolade is testimony to the global appeal and style of the Duro DZ and the Rodeo RZ,” said P S Ashok, Senior Vice President and Head (R&D and Pune Operations), Mahindra Two Wheelers.
The India Design Mark is granted by the India Design Council which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and recognizes and evaluates good design through a systemized process. It constitutes the India Design Mark logo that reflects the virtues of good design, which can be used as a symbol of distinguished excellence on the product.
