That the Mahindra Two Wheelers is close to launching its second 110cc bike is a known fact. Now, the bike has been spotted testing by Eshaan-P180 from Xbhp.com. Christened as the Centuro, the bike was unveiled along with the Pantero 110cc bike which is already on sale.
The Centuro will be basically a more stylish alternative to the Pantero and will be positioned slightly above the latter.
During the unveiling, Mahindra Two Wheelers laid stress on the fact that the Centuro would come with a car like key fob that benefits from an incorporated remote control and LED torch. The Centuro will also feature laden with an engine immobilizer, LED pilot lamps and a white backlit semi digital speedometer console.
All thanks to some horizontally placed bars below the fuel tank, the Centuro’s styling has a hint of the Mojo performance bike concept that was first showcased light years ago. These bars will be a part of the accessories package that Mahindra plans to launch with the Centuro.
The upcoming Centuro is powered by the same MCi-5, 110cc, single cylinder engine that powers the Pantero. This engine has an ARAI certified Fuel Economy of 79.4 kmpl. Mahindra told us that while the Centuro will be as powerful as the Pantero, the upcoming bike’s engine, although delivering same max power figure of 8.6PS@7500RPM, will be differently tuned.
