The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq is here with a few useful updates that make the electric SUV more interesting. It gets a new 70kWh battery, more technology and a redesigned cabin with three screens on higher variants. Prices start at Rs 19.45 lakh, while the BaaS option brings the starting price down to Rs 11.45 lakh.
Pricing and variants
The range is spread across several trims and battery choices. Prices go up to Rs 26.95 lakh for the top versions.

| Three+ | 79kWh | Rs 24.95 lakh |

The 59kWh One and Two variants can also be bought through BaaS. Their starting prices are Rs 11.45 lakh and Rs 12.95 lakh, with a battery charge of Rs 3.75 per km. The Formula E Edition is available at Rs 24.45 lakh, while its Freedom Edition costs Rs 26.95 lakh.
Exterior
There is no major visual overhaul. The SUV keeps its sharp coupe style, C shaped lighting, flush door handles and panoramic glass roof. New colours include Ruby Velvet, Rosso Impulso and Graphite Storm. The Launch Edition gets the Graphite Storm finish and special Sporteq badges.

Three battery choices
The biggest mechanical addition is the 70kWh battery. The SUV is now offered with 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh packs.
- 59kWh: 231hp, 380Nm and 548km range
- 70kWh: 245hp, 380Nm and 651km range
- 79kWh: 286hp, 380Nm and 683km range
All versions use a single rear motor. DC charging support goes up to 180kW, depending on the battery. Mahindra says the packs can charge from 20 to 80 percent in 20 minutes with the right charger.
A nicer cabin
The cabin gets the biggest changes. Higher variants now have three 12.3-inch screens. The halo style section on the dashboard has also been replaced with a simpler layout.
This creates more room around the centre console for storage, cupholders, USB Type-C ports and the wireless charger. Higher versions also get a black and tan interior, while the Launch Edition has a Full Racing Tan theme.

More connected features
Mahindra has added six TEQ technology suites. TEQ_Me can recognise the driver and load a personal profile. TEQ_Talk brings Google Gemini integration, while TEQ_xting lets owners show messages on the tailgate.
TEQ_Drive adds Custom Drive Mode, Tribe Drive, Drift Mode and Acceleration Boost. There is also Revive SOS, which can provide enough charge for up to 13km to reach a charging station after the battery reaches zero.
Equipment and safety
Depending on the variant, the SUV gets a panoramic glass roof, ventilated seats, Harman Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head up display and auto park assist.
Safety equipment includes seven airbags, Level 2+ ADAS, electronic stability control, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring and a 540 degree camera. The BE 6 also has a five star Bharat NCAP rating.
