A Lamborghini V12 has always been about drama. Now the Revuelto has taken that idea much further with the new Revuelto SV. Lamborghini has shown the car at Monterey and has given it more power more downforce and a much stronger track focus. The SV badge also brings back a name that has been part of Lamborghini history since the Miura SV in 1971.
Only 1,963 units of the Revuelto SV will be made. The number is a nod to 1963 when Lamborghini was founded. The car is also expected to cost around $741,172 before expensive options and personalisation.
More Power From The V12 Hybrid
The Revuelto SV uses a 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors. The petrol engine itself produces 825 CV while the complete hybrid setup makes 1,065 CV.

The V12 can rev up to 9,500rpm. The electric motors also help with torque delivery and four wheel drive. Lamborghini has used torque vectoring to improve grip and cornering.
The Aero Has Been Reworked
The Revuelto SV is not just a more powerful version of the standard car. Lamborghini has worked heavily on its aerodynamics.
The new setup gives the SV 80 percent more total downforce than the regular Revuelto. It also gets a fixed rear wing Gurney flap and a redesigned front splitter.

The car also set a 1:41.6 lap time at Germany’s Hockenheimring. Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli set the time making the SV the fastest production car recorded there.
New Suspension And Brakes
Lamborghini has fitted manually adjustable passive dampers inspired by GT3 racing. The suspension changes bring 17 percent more agility and 10 percent more lateral grip compared with the regular Revuelto.
The braking system is also new.
The SV uses CCM-R Plus carbon ceramic brakes with 420mm front discs and 410mm rear discs. Lamborghini says the car can stop from 200 kmph in only 110 metres.
A More Focused Cabin
The cabin follows Lamborghini’s Feel Like A Pilot theme but adds more carbon fibre and racing parts. It gets a digital driver display, a central touchscreen, and a passenger-side screen, giving the dashboard a modern three-screen setup. Carbon shell sport seats are standard, while optional monocoque carbon race seats offer stronger support.
The car also gets a new Pilota driving mode. It works with a five stage traction control system designed for track driving.

The Revuelto SV also gets special Bridgestone Potenza Race R tyres and lightweight 20 inch front and 21 inch rear wheels. Up to 25 exterior parts can be ordered in visible carbon fibre.
There is no manual gearbox planned for the car. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said manual options had very little demand in earlier models.
