Lamborghini Revuelto Launch Soon, What to Expect?

Lamborghini’s latest model, the Revuelto, is set to debut in India on December 6th this year, marking the brand’s leap into hybrid plug-in powertrains with its V12 engine. The Lamborghini Revuelto represents a groundbreaking evolution in the realm of high-performance supercars. As Lamborghini’s new flagship model and the successor to the iconic Aventador, the Revuelto marries raw power with cutting-edge technology, introducing Lamborghini’s first-ever V12 hybrid plug-in powertrain.

Revuelto: Engine, Performance, & Specs

This model boasts impressive specifications, sporting a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine alongside three electric motors, an eight-speed transmission, and a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Its combined output reaches a staggering 1015bhp, with the V12 itself generating 825bhp and 725Nm of torque, while each front electric motor contributes 350Nm. Accelerating from 0-100 km/h in a mere 2.5 seconds, the Revuelto is an all-wheel-drive marvel with a top speed surpassing 350 km/h.

Paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox located behind the engine, the vehicle also incorporates three electric motors. Lamborghini has engineered the L545 engine for the Revuelto, a lightweight yet immensely powerful 12-cylinder unit that weighs only 218 kilograms, shedding 17 kilograms compared to the Aventador’s engine.

Revuelto: Design & Exterior Looks

Design-wise, the Revuelto inherits the Aventador’s iconic styling with wedged silhouettes, Y-shaped accents, scissor doors, and aggressive front and rear bumpers. Its focus on aerodynamics has significantly improved. Boasting a 33% increase in front aerodynamic load and a staggering 74% increase in the rear. These figures are as compared to the Aventador Ultimae.

The design language, named Space Race, takes inspiration from aerospace elements. It features a distinctive shark-nose design, carbon-fiber hood, Y-shaped daytime running lights. Aerodynamic enhancements like side fins and pronounced concavities in the doors are also seen.

Lamborghini Revuelto’s Interiors

Inside, the cabin embraces modernity by showcasing an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen serving as the car’s technological hub. It provides a shared driving experience with displays on both the driver’s 12.3-inch digital cockpit and the 9.1-inch passenger-side dashboard.

Furthermore, it introduces a sophisticated driver-assistance system utilizing radar, cameras, and various sensors. This is for enhanced safety features like rear cross-traffic alerts, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warnings.

Competitors

This Lambo is expected to compete directly with the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. Lamborghini’s flagship model is projected to fall within the price range of approximately Rs 6 to Rs 8 crore (ex-showroom). This makes it an aggressive contender in the high-end supercar market.
