Lamborghini is geared up to launch their new Revuelto Plug-in Hybrid supercar in India. However, the Revuelto is their first hybrid V12 supercar replacing the Aventador. The Italian carmaker will launch its new supercar in the market by December this year.

Lamborghini Revuelto: Exterior Design

Lamborghini Revuelto New Hybrid Supercar

The new Lamborghini Revuelto features a sharp and edgy exterior design. However, the silhouette of the supercar resembles the DNA of the Italian carmaker. The Revuelto has the iconic Y-shaped elements in certain profiles of the car.

Upfront, it gets a downward nose, LED headlights, Y-shaped DRLs, a new air dam, and massive Y-shaped intakes. Meanwhile, the design of the side profile is largely similar to the Aventador. It gets new intake vents, sharper panels, and new doors. Also, the new Revuelto rides on attractive alloy wheels.

The rear of the Revuelto features a new aggressive-looking design profile. It gets a new engine hood, upright hexagonal exhaust, and Y-shaped LED taillights. Also, it gets a new rear bumper with a diffuser which adds to its striking design. With all these elements, the new Revuelto is ready to appeal to supercar enthusiasts.

Lamborghini Revuelto: Interior and Features

Like the exterior, the interior of the new Revuelto is stylish and looks sporty in appeal. The Y-shaped elements are continued in the interior of the Revuelto. The Revuelto gets an orange and black theme in its interior.

The dashboard gets a new steering wheel, a bigger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a Y-shaped panel with AC vents. Meanwhile, the center console is surrounded by the massive 8.4-inch vertical infotainment system. The console also gets the red surrounded push start/stop button and more buttons for the drive mode selector.

Also, the supercar gets a 9.1-inch display on the passenger side of the dashboard. The three screens have reduced the physical buttons except for the ones on the steering wheel.

Lamborghini Revuelto: Engine and Transmission

The new Lamborghini Revuelto features the new 6.5L V12 naturally aspirated engine. However, this engine is mated to the Plug-in hybrid system which includes a 3.8kWh Li-ion battery pack and 3 electric motors.

The new V12 engine produces 825hp of power and 725nm of torque output. But, the combined output of this car is 1,015hp of power including the output of electric motors. Meanwhile, the power is sent to all the wheels via the new 8-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission.

The carmaker has mounted two electric motors at the front axle which deliver the power to the wheels separately. The third electric motor is mounted on the gearbox which delivers the power to the rear wheel. However, the working of the third motor depends on the selected drive mode.

With this powertrain, the carmaker has claimed the 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds along with a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
