Lamborghini has announced that it has sold nearly 3000 units of the Huracan LP610-4 supercar since its launch. This entry level supercar from Lamborghini was introduced nearly 10 months ago. Out of the 3000 vehicles sold, almost 1000 made way to the United States. Now, the company expects to see 3600 sales figure by the completion of one year of the Huracan.
The Huracan is a replacement of Lamborghini’s most successful model ever, the Gallardo. The Huracán is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that produces 610 hp of power. This power propels the Huracán from naught to 100 kph in 3.2 seconds before hitting a top speed of over 325 km/h. The successor to the Gallardo also takes its name from the world of bullfighting: Huracán, a fighting bull of the Spanish Conte de la Patilla breed who fought in August 1879 in Alicante. The Huracan will soon receive different variants including a Spyder and a rear-wheel drive versions.
