The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP 610-4, unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, now seems to be ready for the Indian market. The teaser image surfaced on Lamborghini Delhi’s official Facebook page, which is one of the three authorized dealers for Lamborghini in the country. The Huracan Spyder will follow the Huracan LP580-2 which was recently launched in India.
The Huracan Spyder’s soft top roof will be available in three color choices of red, black and brown. The soft top roof can be lowered till speeds of 50 km/hr and takes about 17 seconds to open or close. The chassis of the Huracan Spyder is 40% stiffer compared to the Gallardo Spyder and features a flat under-body, a large air diffuser and an integrated spoiler that increases the downforce by 50% against the former model.
The engine of the Huracan Spyder is retained from its coupe model, which is a 5.2 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 601 hp of power 560 Nm of torque. Top speed is rated at 324 km/hr while the 0-100 figure comes up in just 3.4 seconds. The engine comes mated to a seven speed dual clutch transmission that transfers the power to all four wheels.
The Huracan Spyder LP610-4 is priced at €186,450 (approximately Rs 1.4 crore) in Europe and we expect this model to be priced around the Rs 3.7-3.8 crore in India.
