KTM has announced that they are starting the third season of the Great Ladakh Adventure Tour. The bike maker is all set to start this season of the tour on August 12, 2023. In this tour, the company will select only 30 riding enthusiasts for this tour.
Details of the KTM Adventure Tour
The KTM will organize the Great Ladakh Adventure Tour as a part of its Pro-XP program. In this tour, the expert trainers, Varad More and Sangram Devekar will provide guidance to the riders.
Meanwhile, the third season of the KTM Adventure Tour will get a new route. The new route of the Adventure Tour includes the new addition of Zanskar Valley. For this tour, the participants of the tour will have to complete the Adventure Academy.
This Academy will train the riders and provide them with the best skills for the tour at the 14,000ft. of height. Also, this route covers various types of terrains like Tarmac, Hills, Dry Riverbeds, Sand Dunes, Slush, Gravel, Mud, River Crossing, Forest, and Twisties.
About Features and Surveying for this Tour
The KTM has conducted a detailed survey and research for the planning of this tour. However, the company has done the research from 1 to 2 months before the start of the tour. The company has covered various areas and new locations for this tour.
KTM has done research on the locations like Manali, Jispa, Leh, Kargil, and Padum for this tour. In this adventure tour, the riders will explore various locations like Gata Loops, More Plains, Pangong TSO, and the mystical realms of Zanskar and Shinku La.
In terms of features and safety, KTM has made several safety provisions for the convenience of the riders. It includes a special paramedic Ambulance and backup vehicle for spares and luggage.

- All permits
- Adventure Insurance with coverage up to Rs. 5 Lac for the entire expedition
- Accommodation on a double-sharing basis at a campsite, guesthouse, or hotel, subject to availability
- Meals from Day 1 to breakfast on the last day, except for Day 1 and Day 11 meals, based on the hotel’s reporting time
- Service support will be readily available with a KTM company-trained mechanic
