KTM Duke 200 Gets Stunning Upgrades, Check Out What They Are

One of the performance bike manufacturers, KTM has launched the updated 200 Duke for 2023. However, the bike has received some minor cosmetic revisions resulting in a refreshed look. The updated 200 Duke is priced at Rs. 1.96 Lakhs which is Rs. 3,155 dearer than the outgoing model.

Updates in the new KTM 200 Duke

The most significant highlight of the updated 200 Duke bike is the addition of LED headlights. The new LED headlight is borrowed from its older siblings namely the 390 Duke and 250 Duke. Furthermore, the headlight unit comprises an array of 32 LED units with 6 reflectors for the beam and additional DRL.

Some other updates in 200 Duke are Twin-channel ABS with Supermoto mode, WP upside-down forks, and WP mono-shock. Moreover, the KTM has tweaked the Split steel trellis frame and Aluminum swingarm. However, the position of exhaust system is located under the belly due to the updated powertrain.

Powertrain, Wheels, Pricing, and the Competition

At the heart of the matter of the KTM 200 Duke is a 199.5cc liquid-cooled petrol engine. This engine is BS6 phase-2 compliant and churns out 25ps of power and 19.3nm of torque output. The power is channeled to the rear wheel via a 6-Speed Transmission. The updated KTM 200 Duke boasts 17-inch alloy wheels and 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc brakes.

KTM has retailed the new KTM 200 Duke 2023 at Rs. 1.96 Lakhs Ex-showroom. This bike competes with Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and Honda Hornet 2.0 in the 200cc segment.
