KTM 790 Duke a.k.a ‘The Scalpel’ takes precision to a whole new level in this promotional video

KTM has released the extended promotional video of its 790 Duke prototype and after watching it, you’d agree to the motorcycle’s pet name, The Scalpel. The motorcycle is still in its prototype stage and is expected to reach showrooms by 2018. So we’d probably see the production spec model being unveiled at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show. While we wait for that, check out the extended promotional video of the 790 Duke ‘The Scalpel’ below:

First revealed at the 2016 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan the 790 Duke is the first member of the hitherto non-existent KTM middleweight family. The 790 Duke eatures an all-new parallel-twin engine of about 800cc. KTM is calling the new engine the LC8c.

The new KTM, apart from getting an all-new parallel twin engine will also benefit from an fresh new frame and a bevy of electronic aids including traction control and many rider modes. The 790 Duke will also get ride-by-wire throttle, and integrated ‘MY RIDE’ connectivity. The bike may just get quickshifter as well.
