  1. Even paying 2.5 lacs you would still only pay half as much as the people in Europe. So you really shouldn't complain.

  2. Agree with all….2.25 is bit too much as this is neither has full flaring and its not a twin cylinder….even the chassis is of duke 200.europions can afford such price.

  3. Guys its 2.25 lakhs for the ABS version, I am sure the non-abs version will be around the 2.0lakh mark. And yes 2.5 lakhs should be for the faired variant.

  4. I totally agree with Rahul that 2.5 will make expensive…..don't see a reason y it should cost more than 35 to 50 grands than the existing 200…

  5. me thinks 2.5 lacs is expensive.. after all the only thing that's different about the 390 compared to the 200, is the engine. As everything else is the same, why should there be a price difference of 1.1 – 1.3 lacs?
if the European prices are anything to go by, there is a 500-600 pounds difference between the DUKE 200 and 390 which is roughly 60,000/- (max) difference. so i guess, we should be charged max up to 2 lacs for the non abs bike.
Moreover the DUKE will loose out on its price advantage as the CB500 (twin) is expected to come in at 2.5 lacs,
