Details of the KTM 390 Adventure X

The manufacturer has made drastic cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the regular variant. KTM has dropped quite a few electronic components like traction control, quick-shifter, and cornering control ABS. However, the brand has retained some important features such as the dual-channel ABS circuit. This function also allows the moving of only the rear wheel by turning it off.

Aside from the new features, the Adventure X is very similar to its standard variant. Both variants get the same powertrain, LED lights, bodywork, and suspension. However, there is no update about the omission of the Bluetooth TFT display.

Powertrain, prices, and competition

The KTM Adventure X is powered by the new BS6 Phase-2 compliant 374cc single-cylinder engine. This engine has an output of 43 hp and 37 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The KTM has retailed the 390 Adventure X at Rs. 2.8 lakhs ex-showroom, making it Rs. 36,000 more expensive than the 250 Adventure variant. However, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is cheaper than the 390 Adventure X by a big jump of Rs. 65,000. The KTM 390 Adventure X spoils you with a brilliant package of modern features and off-road capabilities.
