Kinetic Luna Makes A Comeback in an Electric Avatar

Kinetic Green has launched the E-Luna marking a significant milestone in the electric vehicle industry. The stylish and versatile electric two-wheeler was introduced at an event in New Delhi, graced by the presence of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, among other dignitaries.

The E-Luna, an electric version of the iconic Luna, that was popular decades ago. Although the E-Luna is all-electric, it retains some design elements of the Luna to keep the legacy alive. The old Luna was known for its affordability and versatility. The E-Luna too aims to retain those traits and offer something more.

E-Luna Features

Key features of the E-Luna include a metallic-colored, dual-tubular, high-strength steel chassis, designed to provide strength, durability, and stability over various terrains. The electric two-wheeler is equipped with a 2.0 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a range of 110 km on a single charge. Additionally, the E-Luna features a BLDC mid-mount motor with 2.2 kW peak capacity and advanced digital meters for enhanced convenience.

Shri Nitin Gadkari praised the launch of the E-Luna, emphasizing its role in promoting sustainable transportation. He highlighted the vehicle’s affordability and versatility, stating that it aligns with the government’s vision for electric mobility in India. Mr. Gadkari also shared his personal connection to the Luna, reminiscing about his first vehicle and its significance in his life.

Colors and Price

The E-Luna will be available in five metallic colors and can be pre-booked for just ₹500 on the Kinetic Green website. Deliveries will commence soon from Kinetic Green dealerships nationwide, as well as online platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. The E-Luna is priced at ₹69,999/- ex-showroom
