Kawasaki’s Super Naked Z650 Launched At ₹6.24 Lakh

Kawasaki India launched their popular super naked street bike the Z650 (MY22). The bike doesn’t receive many changes however, it does come in ‘Candy Lime Green Type 3’ and is launched at ₹6.24 lakh (ex-showroom). When it comes to naked bikes, The Z series has dominated the segment. The Ninja 650’s sibling, the Z650 is also true to the ‘Sugomi’ styling.

Engine and Styling

Z650 is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin engine that churns out 68 PS of power and 64 Nm of max torque. Kawasaki states that this engine will have cleaner emissions. The BS6 compliant engine is more refined while maintaining the power of the engine. While everyone is heavily adapting to save the environment, these emissions matter a lot.

Now coming to the styling of the Z650, as it is a naked sportbike that consists of a crouching stance, a low positioned head, and an upswept tail. The whole design gives an aggressive look. This bike is made for the buyer who is entering their journey of performance-oriented bikes.

More Features

MY22 Z650 is equipped with twin LED headlights, each featuring low and high beams as well as a position lamp, offer increased brightness and adds to the sharper new styling. It now features a new sharper and aggressive-looking fairing with a redesigned fuel tank and tail section.

Adding more to the features, it is also fitted with a 4.3” TFT colour instrumentation, which gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance. The new meter also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model. A Bluetooth technology built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” several instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience. Also, the tires have been updated to new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport tires which contribute to the superb handling the Ninja series is known for.
