In shocking new updates, the juvenile who mowed down the 32-year-old marketing consultant in a freak accident in Delhi was booked for rash and negligible driving thrice in the past. Sidharth Sharma, a 32-year-old marketing consultant based out of Delhi, was mowed down by a speeding Mercedes-Benz on Monday night.

Now, according to new reports by Times of India, the police have found out that the juvenile driver was involved in another road accident in the same area. The juvenile has been slapped with charges of culpable homicide while has father has also been arrested for abetting the crime. A chargesheet in the case will be filed against the father and son.

Speaking to the news daily, DCP (north) Madhur Verma said, “Not a single step was taken by the father of the accused, Chawri Bazar businessman Manoj Aggarwal, to stop the boy from driving the car. This is an act of criminal omission, thereby abetting the crime of the juvenile. He has thus been arrested.”

“Apart from accidents, CCTV footages of the area indicate that the possibility of the juvenile being aware that his extremely fast driving in a residential area can cause a death, cannot be ruled out,” DCP Verma further added.
