Renault India Pvt. Ltd. today announced that it sold 6,007 vehicles in the month of June 2013. The company saw a year-on-year growth of nearly eight fold, with 787 units sold in June 2012. This is indeed commendable, considering that the Indian car market is going through a sluggish phase at the moment.
“The Renault brand is continuing to see increasing visibility and acceptability among Indian customers, despite a challenging market”, said Sumit Sawhney, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Renault India Pvt. Ltd. “With the reliability and performance of Renault’s products, the widespread reach of our dealer network as well as the growing customer recognition of our brand, we are confident of continued growth in the near term.”
Detailed Renault India car sales figure for the month of June 2013 is as follows-
- Duster- 4,523 units
- Scala- 772 units
- Pulse- 497 units
- Fluence- 215 units.
