After showcasing the Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Jeep has now come up with Wrangler Dragon Edition in the USA. The Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept was shown at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show and apparently recieved a great positive feedback from Jeep lovers around the world so automaker now has decided to introduce a production version of the concept. This edition of the Wrangler is expected to hit the showrooms in US by this fall and will come with a price tag starting at $36,095.
“The dragon symbolizes strength and power and is an aspirational character normally associated with royalty and good fortune,” says Jeep, and that apparently equates to a blacked-out Wrangler Unlimited with bronze satin gloss highlights inside and out, along with big dragon decals that start on the hood and run down the fenders. There are 18-inch matte black wheels with a bronze outer edges, and a dragon-emblazoned spare tire cover completes the look.
The Wrangler Dragin gets black and bronze detailing and a Dragon decal which extends till the middle row door. Interior gets bronze and black satin gloss treatment and is available only in black as a foor door Unlimited model.
Other interior touches include high-gloss black instrument panel bezels and door handles and Satin Bronze accent trim on the steering wheel spokes and passenger-side dashboard grab handle. Finishing the interior modifications are matching bronze bound floor mats and a unique dragon graphic overlay in the gauge cluster.
Now that this iconic brand from the Chrysler group is all set to set its foot in India, we feel Jeep lovers in India will surely rejoice.
