Jeep Wagoneer S Electric SUV Revealed

Jeep is set to revolutionize the electric SUV landscape with its much-anticipated release, the Jeep Wagoneer S, scheduled for a global launch later this year

Interior Innovation

Inside the Wagoneer S, a remarkable interior awaits. The cabin boasts a total of four screens, strategically placed across the dashboard.

From a digital instruments screen behind the steering wheel to a central infotainment screen, a climate control screen, and a passenger entertainment screen.

A notable feature is the absence of physical buttons within the SUV, except for those on the steering wheel. Jeep adopts a touchscreen-centric approach, aligning with modern design trends.

The rotary drive selector and driving mode selector add to the sleek interior, with five drive modes catering to various terrains.

Feature-Rich Cabin

The Wagoneer S doesn’t compromise on luxury and comfort. The interior is loaded with features such as a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system, 360-degree camera, park assist, lane-keep assist, heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, customisable ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. The attention to detail extends to a massage function for the front seats.

Exterior Design

Design-wise, the Wagoneer S pays homage to the classic Wagoneer SUV, retaining its large proportions, square wheel arches, and the iconic 7-slat grille, now illuminated for a modern touch.

The full-width LED bar in the front and rear adds to the SUV’s visual appeal.

Powerful Performance and Rapid Acceleration

Built on Jeep’s STLA Large platform, a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) platform, the Wagoneer S promises robust performance. While specific powertrain details are yet to be revealed, Jeep confidently announces 600hp under the hood. The SUV is expected to accelerate from 0-97kph in a mere 3.5 seconds, showcasing its prowess on the road.

Jeep Compass EV in 2026

While the global launch of the Wagoneer S creates excitement, Jeep India has plans to introduce an electric version of the Compass in 2026.

Utilizing the STLA Medium platform, this EV will offer front-wheel and four-wheel drive layouts, with an impressive claimed range of over 700km.
