If the Dubai Police can have the most outrageous fleet of cars in their lineup, the cops from the land of exotic supercars can somewhat swank their own.
The Italian Police with already a Gallardo in their ranks were recently handed over a brand new Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann who while delivering the manufacturer’s latest V10 said “We have a strong and fitting relationship with the Italian State Police. The new Lamborghini Huracan stands for Italian super sports car excellence and we are proud to provide it to the Italian State Police to carry out the specialist tasks these police cars undertake.”
Presented in the traditional blue and white livery, the new Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 Italian Police car would be replacing the four year old Gallardo that was incorporated into service way back in 2010. Equipped with LED light bars, gun holster, sirens and police radios- the Huracan can not only chase down speeding miscreants but also is well equipped to be a life saver featuring a refrigeration system for speedy transportation of life saving organs.
Talking of numbers, the new Raging Bull on the block with a 5.2 litre 610 bhp V10 at heart can shatter the 0-100 mark in a meager 3.2 seconds and 0-200 in 9.9 seconds with a top speed of over 320 kph.
