TVS showcased the exciting Draken concept at the Auto Expo 2014 in February this year. Although the details about the concept going on the production line aren’t out as of yet, the company has started showcasing the bike in Indonesia to gauge public response.

At the earlier Auto Expo’s, TVS showcased an interesting concept everytime. Those concepts never materialized into their production avatars. Even the Draken has no surety of reaching the production line, but the company is showcasing the concept to gauge public response.
The TVS Draken Concept is a 250cc motorcycle. Powering the Draken is a 249.2 cc single cylinder engine with liquid-cooling which is supposed to produce 38.50 bhp of power at 12,000 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 9500 rpm. The company is also claiming a fuel efficiency figure upwards of 33kmpl . The 250 cc motor sens power to the rear wheel via a 6 speed transmission.
The TVS Draken concept boasts of asymmetric headlight design with LED headlamp element and daytime running lights, structural sub-frame, reversed free flow exhaust system, active matrix digital instrument console and offset rear monoshock suspension. The bike also gets an underbelly exhaust, perimeter frame and mono suspension at the back. Suspension duties up front are taken care of by upside down forks.
