Kawasaki Pune has delivered India’s first Versys X-300 compact adventure tourer. The proud owner for India’s first Kawasaki Versys X-300 is Prasad Kamat. The motorcycle was launched in India with prices starting from INR 4.6 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Versys-X 300 is built to conquer any-road, any-time. The 19” front and 17” rear spoke wheels are claimed to give it greater capability on unpaved roads than its larger, street-focused brothers. Mechanically, the Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc parallel twin engine, tuned to deliver 40PS of power at 11,500 rpm and 25.7 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The parallel twin engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission and is claimed to deliver smooth, torquey, power at low and medium rpm and powerful acceleration at high rpm.
