Polaris India Pvt. Ltd, the owners of the legendary Indian Motorcycle brand, has launched the all-new Indian Springfield. The touring focused motorcycle is named after the birthplace of Indian Motorcycle. Imbibing the characteristics that every Indian Motorcycle boasts of – quality, attention to detail and character, the Springfield is targeted at open road touring with maximum confort.
Indian Motorcycle Company is already accepting bookings for the motorcycle which priced at INR 31,07,770 (Ex Showroom Gurugram). The Indian Springfield will be available in the classic Thunder Black colour.
The Indian Springfield is powered by the brand’s Thunder Stroke 111 engine. Torque is rated at 138.9 Nm @ 2600 rpm and is good to set the Springfield rolling with authority even in higher gears and low revs.
Unlike other Indian motorcycles which are pure offshoots of the Chief family, the Springfield is a bit more distinct, it gets a new chassis to handle heavier loads. The motorcycle gets telescopic front forks and an air adjustable rear single shock with 11.4 cm of travel. The Springfield can handle a gross vehicle weight of 630 kg without any issues.
