Impressive: Mahindra XUV500’s interiors!

We just reported that the Mahindra XUV500 is scheduled to be launched on the 28th of September, 2011. However, we just came across something which made us just stare with our jaws wide open. A few snaps revealing the interiors of the car have surfaced on The Car & Bike Show Facebook page giving us some insights on what it would be like. And yeah! We’d actually say that it is impressive. Being on test in India since quite some time now, there have been a cluster of images across the net. But as the launch gets closer, much more is getting revealed.

XUV 500

The XUV500 interiors might probably be a milestone in the SUV history of Mahindra. With these new interior images, it seems like the firm is all set to compete with rival international products such as the Toyota Fortuner and the Hyundai Santa Fe. According to these images, the car will sport a dual tone dashboard with aluminum inserts to add to the luxurious feel. The center console is filled with buttons which hints that the car will be packed with gizmos and features and has a small screen on the top which will provide on-the-go information to the driver. The ergonomically designed handbrake reminds us of the Honda Civic. The car will feature a four spoke dual tone leather wrapped steering wheel with steering mounted controls. The dial cluster is mated with a set of chrome inserts that improves the luxurious feel the car has to offer. To add to this, the interiors get a more luxurious feel with the neatly designed dual tone leather seats and wide armrest.

Pictures have a story to tell, but lets hope it lives up to our expectations in flesh, as far as quality is concerned.
