This isn’t the first time that someone has wrecked/damaged an exotic supercar, but it’s still heart-wrenching. Previously, we saw a crazy guy jumps on a INR 8 crore Lamborghini Aventador SV. Karma (and the owner of the Lamborghini) hit him right in the face, and let’s agree that he deserved it. In more heartbreaking news, someone vandalized the limited edition, INR 3.71 crore Lamborghini Huracan Avio and the images would haunt you in your worst nightmares.
The supercar is limited to just 250 examples worldwide and this particular Lamborghini Huracan Avio is from Brugge, Belgium. You might think that it’ll be an easy fix, and it probably should be, but it will be an expensive one.
India has two examples of the Huracan Avio. While one resides in Kolkata, the second belongs to someone in Bhubaneswar. Inspired by the history of aeronautical engineering of the Italian Air Force, the Huracan Avio was sold in five colour options – Grigio Falco, Blu Grifo, Grigio Nibbio, Grigio Vulcano and Verde Turbine. Customers wanting more options could get their Huracan Avio customised to their tastes through ‘Ad Personam’, the company’s personalization program.
Propelling the Huracan Avio special edition is the same 5.3-litre V10 petrol motor seen on the standard Huracan. This engine is capable of producing a power output of 610 PS at 6250 rpm while the peak torque of 560 Nm comes up at 6500 rpm. This drivetrain sends power to all four wheels via a seven speed dual clutch transmission. The Huracan Avio attain a speed of naught to 100 kmph in a mere 3.2 seconds while the top speed is limited to 325 kmph.
