Hyundai Xcent to get ABS standard across range; Eon loses some features

 

Small changes to the Hyundai India line-up are abound, as the Korean car major cuts some features on the low-cost Eon hatchback, while adds some to the Xcent compact sedan. This feature list rejig comes following the cut in the Elite i20’s features last month.

The Xcent now gets ABS as standard across the range, including the base and S trims. The top-end SX trim is no longer available, while the S (O) trim is fitted with standard dual front airbags as as well as reverse parking sensor with camera on internal rear view mirror.

Meanwhile, variants of the Eon hatchback have been stripped off a handful of features. The D-Lite+ trim deletes body coloured bumpers and the chrome grille. The black bumpers will now be complemented with a body colored unit. Also, the Era+ trim loses out on central locking. The remaining trims and equipment levels remain unchanged.

Prices of the upated Xcent and Eon models will be revealed soon.
